CoolCon 2011 – Magic The Gathering
Entrance to CoolCon and access to the bands (Chromium & Seven year Kismet). all weekend R70 or R30 per day gets you in the door.
Magic events on offer at CoolCon:

Casual magic – non sanctioned extreme casual play whenever where ever, go wild!
Standard events – sanctioned casual rated games featuring Type 2
Modern event – any cards after 8th core set are welcome.
Vintage event – any card you like, check the restricted list online.
Draft events – we will be having two types of draft:
1. Innistrad (only innistrad boosters will be drafted)
2. Any booster (anything from any set as long as the boosters are sealed) there will be a R15 surcharge if you bring your own boosters.
Broken Deck Beat Down (Freeform format)
– you know all those cards that have been banned over the years? Well… we will unban them for this event – yup that means we encourage you to bring your most BROKEN DECK if you have one, deck list essential – also you may play any number of the same card. (clearly not sanctioned) PRIZES will be awarded according to category.

BROKEN DECK BEAT DOWN (Freeform R40 entrance) Any deck any cards All banned cards are now unbanned for this event. We would like to see how broken your decks can be , consistency is the key – if your deck has the label of ‘tier’ in its name then you qualify too, in fact we encourage it! You may play any number of the same card if you wish. Deck lists compulsory. |
